Attention Denver Voters...More Sabotage in the Works! (Please Read...Very Important!)
I received this message from CREDO allerting us of potential voter suppression issues and here is a great one for Denver County....This explains why Nicole never received her ballot:
Here at CREDO, we're paying close attention to potential voter suppression issues that could affect voters around the country. Today, we're writing to let you know about a problem in Denver County.
The problem: The Denver Elections Division announced yesterday that 11,000 ballots that were supposed to be printed by a vendor, Sequoia Voting Systems, were never sent to the postal service for mailing. Election officials say that they will be preparing new ballots over the weekend.
Who's affected: If you were one of the 180,000 Denver voters who requested a mail-in ballot, and you haven't received yours, you could be affected.
The solution:
Find your closest early voting location and go vote. If you haven't received your ballot and don't want to wait to see if it shows up, you can find a early voting location by clicking here. There are 13 early voting sites throughout the county. If you already have your ballot at home and would like to vote in person, you can also take your mail-in ballot to any early voting location.
Pass this e-mail on to every Denver voter you know — we have only until Oct 31 (the end of early voting) to educate as many people as possible about this problem.
Thank you for working to protect our democracy.
