HISTORY IS MADE

There was no doubt about it, I beamed with pride January 20, 2009 when Barack Obama was Inaugurated. For the first time in American history a black man was “crowned” president in a nation that once would “lynch” a black man for even stating he would run for presidency.

This was the first time for me that I felt so passionately about the presidential election and did my civic duty to Obama by campaigning for him. He is my idol. The man is what we need to bring America back from the depths of the continual decline of our economy and brotherhood. Yes, I believe our new nation was ready for change and Obama is going to bring it. I know for myself I will be a great part of the change and vow to help Obama rebuild America, one city at a time.
